In the heart of the city, the campus is a mix of modern award-winning and older buildings, including the Ruskin Building. Our Ruskin Gallery and Mumford Theatre are much valued by the local community; an eye clinic and music therapy clinic offer clinical training and community services. Construction of a £45m science building commenced in July 2015.
Ten minutes’ walk from the main line station and in the heart of the “University and Innovation Quarter”, our architecturally striking award‑winning campus is on the bank of the River Chelmer. In addition to teaching buildings, the campus houses a student village with shops, a medical centre, a sports hall, a library and a business incubation centre, together with advanced engineering laboratories.
Students at our Guild House campus in Peterborough are part of our smaller university community, specialising in health and social care courses. We’re proud of our superb modern skills lab with state-of-the-art nursing equipment at this campus. Close to the historic city centre with its imposing cathedral and parkland Guild House is approximately a fifteen minutes’ walk from the main line station.
